Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Banking Adviser for the Lower Hutt branch. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers with everyday banking, insuring a positive journey from opening accounts to advising on products and digital tools.

You’ll bring energy, empathy, and strong listening skills, thriving on meaningful conversations, and contributing to a community-minded workplace in New Zealand. The role is full-time, permanent, with a Tuesday–Saturday pattern.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a customer‑focused role.
• Confident, engaging communication and the ability to build trust quickly.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and a knack for uncovering customer needs.
• Digital confidence, with the ability to coach customers through tools and technology.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical decision‑making.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements (desired)

• Promote and guide customers through digital banking tools and features.
