Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a motivated baker to join a small team in a busy commercial kitchen. You will contribute to creative baking, focusing on macarons, fillings and delicate confectionery, with full training provided.

The role requires prior baking experience, a keen eye for detail, and a friendly, can-do attitude. This fixed-term contract runs from asap until Christmas, typically Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday shifts, around 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Make caramels, ganache and buttercream fillings.
• Make, pipe and fill macarons with full training provided.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of talented bakers!

We are a small business producing beautiful food with a creative twist. We place emphasis on creative and interesting flavour combinations, and stunning presentation.

This is a fixed term contract - starting asap until Christmas.

You'll be responsible for the following tasks:

• making caramels, ganache and buttercream fillings
• making, piping and filling macarons (full training provided)
• making a range of biscuits, panforte and confectionary as well as basic kitchen prep
• food safety standards adhered to
• other general kitchen duties

As a busy commercial kitchen, we are looking for someone who is confident, efficient, reliable, great work ethic, fantasticattention to detail, and a friendly "can-do" attitude. Experience required, as well as a strong passion for good food and creativebaking.

This is an approx. 40hour a week role Monday - Friday (with occasional Saturday shift).
