Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island in Queenstown is seeking an experienced Baker to join a friendly, busy supermarket bakery team. You will prepare and bake dough, breads, muffins, cakes and other items, delivering quality products daily.

The role requires a Bakery Qualification Level 3 or higher, a 45-hour week with fixed rosters, and weekend work. The roster currently includes Wed-Sun shifts with specific hours; applicants must be ready to commit.

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Baker. You will be joining a friendly and positive team within our busy supermarket.

You will be:

• An experienced and qualified Baker, being competent preparing and baking dough, breads, muffins, cakes and other bakery items.
• Passionate about the art of baking and delivering outstanding quality
• Focused on providing exceptional customer service
• A great communicator and team player
• Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items

You will need to be available to work fulltime, 45 hours per week, and the roster includes weekends.

At our supermarket, our rosters are fixed, so you know what days and hours you’ll be working. The roster is:

Wednesday 6.00am to 3.30pm

Thursday 4.00am to 1.30pm

Friday 4.00am to 1.30pm

Saturday 8.00am to 5.30pm

Sunday 8.00am to 5.30pm

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: OFF

A Bakery Qualification of Level 3 or higher is required for your application to be considered.
