Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Prepare, mix and bake breads, pastries, cakes and other bakery products to specification.
• Control proving, baking times and oven temperatures for consistent quality.
• Decorate, finish and present products to a high standard.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, sheeters, proofers).
• Follow strict food safety, hygiene and allergen-management procedures under NZ requirements (Food Control Plan / HACCP).
• Monitor stock and assist with receiving deliveries.
• Work cooperatively with the team to meet daily production schedules.

Job Requirement

• At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

• Solid knowledge of baking techniques, recipes and quality standards.
