Job summary

Pak’nSave Papakura is looking for a skilled Baker to join our busy Bakery department. You will assist in daily operations, helping to produce a wide range of freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes and sweets while keeping shelves stocked.

We value quality, food safety and presentation, and you will work in a supportive, fast-paced environment with early starts and weekend shifts. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and ready to join a 100% New Zealand–owned business.

Qualifications

• Commercial bakery experience is ideal.
• Experience in a retail food or fresh food environment.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Clear and effective communicator at all levels.
• Commitment to food safety and health & safety policies.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the Bakery department and ensure shelves are stocked with freshly baked products.
• Produce a range of items from bread and pastries to specialty cakes and sweets.
• Maintain high standards of quality, food safety, and presentation.

RoleOverview:

As a Baker, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our busy Bakerydepartment, ensuring that our shelves are stocked with a wide range of freshlybaked products at all times. You’ll help produce everything from bread and pastries to specialty cakes and sweets. Your attention to quality, food safety, and presentation will play a vital role in our customers' experience.
