Job summary

Pak’nSave Papakura is looking for a skilled Baker to join our busy Bakery department. You will assist in daily operations, helping to produce a wide range of freshly baked bread, pastries, cakes and sweets while keeping shelves stocked.

We value quality, food safety and presentation, and you will work in a supportive, fast-paced environment with early starts and weekend shifts. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and ready to join a 100% New Zealand–owned business.

Qualifications

• Commercial bakery experience is ideal.
• Experience in a retail food or fresh food environment.
• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
• Clear and effective communicator at all levels.
• Commitment to food safety and health & safety policies.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operations of the Bakery department and ensure shelves are stocked with freshly baked products.
• Produce a range of items from bread and pastries to specialty cakes and sweets.
• Maintain high standards of quality, food safety, and presentation.
