Job summary

Swissport NZ is seeking a Workforce Coordinator to manage rosters and staffing across airport operations. You will adjust rosters in real time, plan coverage up to 72 hours ahead, and liaise with airline partners and internal teams to ensure service levels and financial targets are met.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility for a 24/7 roster. We value accuracy, teamwork, and proactive decision-making in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on airport operations experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rostering guidelines and Employment Agreement.
• Ability to coordinate across Passenger Services and Ramp operations.
• Proven track record managing rosters for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively review and adjust rosters with a 72-hour forward-planning scope.
• Monitor flight schedules, load factors, baggage volumes, and freight to align staffing.
• Communicate staffing plans with Duty Managers and supervisors.
• Update rosters in the Swissport rostering portal and finalize shift coverage.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and highlight operational challenges.
