Job summary

AEM HOLDING LIMITED in Auckland is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential projects. You will coordinate activities, manage subcontractors, monitor budgets and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.

The role requires an NZQF Level 6 qualification (or 3+ years of relevant experience), strong organisational skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Based in Auckland with some site travel.

Qualifications

• NZQF Level 6 qualification or equivalent or 3+ years experience in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
• Sound health and safety understanding in construction.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organising and directing construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and external contractors.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, councils and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing project specifications, contracts and construction documentation.
• Monitoring compliance with building regulations, health and safety requirements and company policies.
• Managing project costs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Conducting site inspections and overseeing quality control processes.
• Preparing project progress reports and maintaining project documentation.
• Resolving project issues and ensuring timely delivery of construction milestones.
