Qualifikationen

• Strong people-orientated leadership experience including coaching, performance management and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated experience leading a transport despatch, distribution or time-critical logistics operation.
• Excellent oral, written and computer skills.
• Full New Zealand Driver License (F Endorsement preferred).

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day metro despatch function and maintain clear accountability, establish daily priorities and ensure despatchers pre-schedule and maintain practical delivery and collection plans.
• Monitor progress of metro work throughout the day, challenge exceptions early and support despatchers to bring solutions.
• Take ownership for metro service performance and ensure despatchers understand and meet customer expectations, ensuring prompt communication and practical solutions.
• Lead root cause reviews for failures and ensure corrective actions effectively enacted.
• Review despatch processes and systems regularly and implement agreed improvements.
