Job summary

rebel Northland is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to coach, inspire and develop a large, engaged team in one of our high-energy stores. You’ll drive sales, hit KPIs, celebrate wins and promote a safe, positive culture in a busy retail environment.

You'll work Tuesday to Saturday, enjoy a competitive salary with weekly pay and potential bonus, and benefit from significant staff discounts across rebel, BCF, Supercheap Auto and Macpac. Join Super Retail Group’s growing network of 750+ stores.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience or supervisory background.
• Ability to coach and develop a large team.
• Strong customer service and sales drive.
• Experience training staff and driving floor activity.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to drive sales and reach KPI targets.
• Lead and motivate a large, engaged team on the shop floor.
• Deliver top-tier customer service and maintain store standards.
• Coordinate training, floor moves and merchandising execution.
• Ensure health & safety and stock control procedures are followed.

As an Assistant Store Manager (known internally as Customer Service Manager), you're key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment.To thrive here, you should ideally have:

• Retail management / leadership experience
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
