New Zealand Red Cross – Mount Maunganui is seeking an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our vibrant shop team. This 19-hour-per-week permanent role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual to keep the shop looking fresh and inviting.
As the 2IC, you’ll support the Shop Manager, delegate tasks, drive sales, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for volunteers and customers alike. Shifts include Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.

We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Shop Manager to join our vibrant Mount Maunganui shop. This is a fun, fast-moving retail environment that gets especially busy over the summer months, so you’ll be someone who enjoys a bit of hustle, takes pride in keeping the shop looking fresh and inviting, and has a good eye for quality clothing labels. You’ll help create a great shopping experience for customers, support the team day to day, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. As our 2IC, you’ll also step in when the Shop Manager is away to delegate tasks, support sales performance, and help maintain a safe, positive and welcoming environment for everyone.
