At Waipuna Hospice, we're all about delivering compassionate end-of-life care across the Western Bay of Plenty. Our goal is to deliver a responsive, compassionate, and person-centred care to individuals living with life-limiting illnesses, which is often in their homes. We also have a welcoming inpatient unit in Te Puna for those who need extra support.

We are seeking a friendly, energetic Shop Assistant to join the team at our Mount Maunganui Charity Shop. This position will work closely with our Shop Manager and team to present and sell donated goods.
This is a varied role and includes receiving and sorting donated goods, providing exceptional customer service, working on the till, shop displays, visual merchandising and keeping the shop looking well presented at all times. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. We need someone that’s customer focused, fit and energetic and is happy to roll their sleeves up and go where the work is.
We are seeking someone that is flexible to work across 7 days, currently the roster is Thursday and Friday 8am - 4pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm. There is also the opportunity for additional hours to cover staff annual leave and sickness.
