Job summary

Retailworld Resourcing is assisting a leading jewellery and watch retailer in Nelson to recruit an Assistant Manager to lead the store and drive results. This hands-on role requires energy, accountability, and a passion for customer service.

You will drive sales, inspire the team, oversee promotions and visual merchandising, and support the manager with rostering, reporting, stocktakes, stock management, and HR functions including recruitment.

The Role

This is a dynamic, hands-on position, and we are looking for a proven sales performer who is energetic and fully committed to delivering results for the brand. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving both individual and store-wide sales and KPI targets
• Inspiring and motivating the team daily by fostering a positive culture and ensuring exceptional customer service
• Managing in-store promotions and overseeing visual merchandising
• Supporting the manager with all administrative tasks such as rostering, reporting, stocktakes, and stock management,HR functions, including performance management and recruitment
