Job summary

Retailworld Resourcing Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, NZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a busy retail store and lead a sales-focused team. The role centers on driving performance, coaching staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

You will lead the team, coach colleagues, manage rostering, merchandising, and stock control while upholding high standards and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail leadership or a strong sales background is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve KPIs.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Organised, hands-on and confident managing day-to-day store operations.
