Job summary

Our Client, New Zealand’s leading jewellery and watch retailer with 40+ stores, seeks a Store Manager for the Nelson location. You will lead sales and KPI targets, coach a small team, manage promotions and merchandising, and oversee HR functions, rosters, reporting and stock control.

You should have a passionate retail mindset, strong coaching skills, autonomy and team leadership. NZ working rights required; base around 65k+ with commissions and bonus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on store management with a focus on sales and KPI delivery.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a retail team.
• Experience in promotions, visual merchandising and stock control.

They are currently seeking a successful Manager to run their Nelson Store!

• $65k+ base salary depending on experience
• Monthly Commission + Annual Bonus + Discounts
• Seasonal Roster: Monday - Friday from April to September | Tuesday - Saturday October - March (no late nights)

The Role:

This is a hands-on Manager’s role and we need to be a proven sales and management performer who is energetic and 100% focused on delivering only the very best results for your store. Your role will include:

• Driving Sales & KPI Targets both individually and store-based
• Motivating a small team every day by driving a positive culture and customer service
• Managing promotions and visual merchandising
• HR Functions - Performance mgmt & recruitment
• Overseeing all administrative duties including rosters, reporting, stocktake, stock management.

What you’ll bring?

You’ll bring a high level of personal presentation with proven experience and the ability to lead, motivate, and drive your team by working alongside them and leading from the front, you’ll also have.
