Firearms Safety and Education New Zealand, hosted by NZ Police, is seeking an Arms Administrator in Wellington. This permanent full-time role supports the Firearms Registry, delivering high-quality customer service and handling licensing inquiries.

You will process registrations, maintain records, provide guidance on licensing, and handle data entry across systems. A six-week rotational roster and start in January 2027 are required.

Qualifications

• Provide professional, accurate, and timely customer service via calls, emails and other channels.
• Assist firearms licence holders with registrations and related Firearms Registry transactions.
• Provide accurate information and guidance on licensing processes and registration requirements.
• Process firearms registrations and maintain accurate records across systems.
• Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including data entry and record management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support service delivery while handling sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Assist firearms licence holders with firearms registrations and related Firearms Registry transactions.
• Provide accurate information and guidance on firearms licensing processes, registration requirements, and general firearms-related enquiries.
• Process firearms registrations and maintain accurate records across the Firearms Registry and associated systems.
• Complete administrative tasks efficiently and accurately, including data entry, record maintenance, and document management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support service delivery objectives while demonstrating professionalism and care when handling sensitive information.
