Area Manager – Drive Day to Day Performance Across Two, South Auckland Drivesure WOF Branches

About the role

As Area Manager, you will oversee the day to day operations of two Warrant of Fitness branches in Takanini and Manukau. You will support the teams and keep the sites running smoothly. This role is hands on, practical, and perfect for someone who knows how a good service operation should feel and makes it happen. You'll be the steady, reliable leader who keeps both branches performing well — supporting staff, maintaining standards, and making sure customers get a consistent, high quality experience.

Key responsibilities

Oversee day to day operations of two Warrant of Fitness branches

Support branch teams and maintain consistent standards

Ensure consistent inspection quality and safe, compliant operations

Manage smooth daily workflow and strong productivity

Build confident, well supported branch leaders

Maintain branches that run clean, tidy, and audit ready

Seek out new business and network with local businesses to grow volume

Balance rules, safety, and customer needs

About you

Experience leading teams or supervising a busy service environment

NZTA Inspection Authorities (desirable, but not essential)

Practical, systems minded approach to keeping operations consistent

Comfort in seeking out new business and networking

Calm, fair leadership style that builds trust

Strong communication and relationship skills

Good judgement and the ability to make clear decisions

Technical understanding of inspections or regulated services (helpful, not essential)

Hands on, visible, and present in the branches

Operationally disciplined and commercially aware
