Job summary

Turners Group NZ Ltd is seeking an experienced leader to take charge of the Whanganui cars branch, driving performance, growth and exceptional customer service. Start in late October or early November.

You will lead from the front, coach a sales and operations team, build relationships with buyers and vendors, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure a customer-first culture while managing branch budgets.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a sales-driven or operational environment.
• Strong sales background with targets focus.
• Ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial acumen with cost management and growth.
• A proactive mindset and problem-solving ability.
• A full, clean Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

Turners Group NZ Ltd is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we're very proud to have been helping Kiwi's buy and sell used vehicles for over 50 years.

We're now looking for an experienced leader to take charge of our Whanganui cars branch and drive performance, growth, and exceptional customer services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone available to commence in late October or Early November

Who would suit this role?

We're after a people-first, results-driven leader with proven experience managing a sales and/or operational team. You'll be confident leading from the front-coaching, motivating, and developing your people to deliver strong results. You'll bring a proven track record in sales and business performance, along with the ability to build strong relationships, grow networks, and identify new business opportunities.

Automotive experience is great but what really matters is your energy, drive, leadership capability, and customer focus.

What does the role entail?
