As an Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while helping to drive performance, customer satisfaction, and team engagement. You’ll lead by example—balancing operational excellence with a genuine commitment to people.This position reports to our Branch Manager based in Whangarei, so the ability to work autonomously is essential.

We’ll support your development and give you the tools to succeed in a leadership role. VTNZ Assistant Branch Managers will ideally have the ability to carry out vehicle assessments. Ideally the successful applicant will already hold a CoF B inspection authority. If you don't have your authority already we can support you with training, provided you have worked full-time carrying out repairs and maintenance to all safety aspects of heavy motor vehicles for at least 4* years plus a minimum class 2 NZ drivers license or equivalent.
