Liebherr-Australia Pty. Ltd. - New Zealand invites applicants for a structured apprenticeship in heavy automotive engineering at our Auckland site.

You will work alongside qualified technicians, learn diagnostics of mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults, and participate in on-the-job training while attending trade school. This program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with comprehensive training programs and a supportive environment to build a long-term trade

Qualifications

• Enrolled or committed to completing a Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering.
• Interest in mechanical equipment and heavy machinery.
• Strong literacy and numeracy with basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to safely use hand tools and follow workplace safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn through structured training, on-the-job experience and trade school attendance.
• Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude and commitment to personal and professional development.

• Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults while developing strong technical skills.
