Job summary

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling seeks a motivated Field Service Technician to service, maintain and repair a broad range of equipment across Auckland and New Zealand. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults, perform major and minor services, and complete service reports.

The role requires travel to customer sites, flexibility for overtime, and a commitment to safety. A diesel/mobile plant mechanic qualification and forklift or air conditioning tickets are

Qualifications

• Must be trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
• Experience with Liebherr earthmoving equipment is desirable.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
• Ability to fault find.
• Forklift, W, T and Air conditioning tickets advantageous.
• Basic Word and Excel abilities.
• Commitment to safety guidelines in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
• Major and minor services
• Maintenance and component replacements
• Fabrication and new machine build as required
• Complete Service Reports
• Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
• Dealing directly with Key Customers
• Minimum 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• You may be offered additional work beyond your ordinary hours of work at time and half.

About the role

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking a motivated and driven Field Service Technicians. In this role you will work in the field across Auckland and New Zealand to service, maintain and repair a broad range of our equipment including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators.
