Job summary

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking motivated Field Service Technicians to service, maintain and repair wheel loaders, material handlers, and excavators across Auckland and New Zealand. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, perform major and minor services, and build strong customer relationships in the field.

The role requires a diesel/mobile plant mechanic qualification, willingness to travel, and the ability to fault-find, with a valid driver’s

Qualifications

Trade qualification as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
Liebherr earthmoving equipment experience is desirable.
A current driver’s license is required.
Forklift, W, T, R and air conditioning tickets are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis.
Major and minor services.
Maintenance and component replacements.
Fabrication and new machine build as required.
Complete Service Reports.
Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field.
Dealing directly with Key Customers.
Minimum 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Overtime availability at time and a half.

About The Role

Liebherr Earthmoving and Material Handling is seeking a motivated and driven Field Service Technicians. In this role you will work in the field across Auckland and New Zealand to service, maintain and repair a broad range of our equipment including wheel loaders, material handlers and excavators.

Duties

Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis
Major and minor services
Maintenance and component replacements
Fabrication and new machine build as required
Complete Service Reports
Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
Dealing directly with Key Customers
Minimum 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
You may be offered additional work beyond your ordinary hours of work at time and half.

Skills & Experience

Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic
Liebherr earthmoving equipment experience is desirable
Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over‑time as required
Ability to fault find
A current driver’s license
Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
Basic Word and Excel abilities
Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
