Qualifications

• Enrolled in, or committed to completing, a Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering.
• Interest in mechanical equipment and long-term trade career.
• Good literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills for training records.
• Willingness to learn through structured training and on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified technicians with inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of heavy equipment.
• Learn to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
• Safely operate workshop tools, equipment and lifting devices.
• Complete apprenticeship training and attend trade school as required.
• Work across service areas and participate in on-the-job training.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, teamwork and continuous improvement.
