Job summary

The Salvation Army Auckland Bridge Centre in Mt Eden is seeking an experienced Social Worker, Counsellor, or Addictions Practitioner to join our residential programme. You will provide integrated care for individuals facing co-occurring addiction and mental health challenges, and you will facilitate group sessions within the Bridge Programme framework.

Applicants must hold a degree in Addictions Counselling, Social Work, or Counselling, be registered for at least two years, and demonstrate

The Salvation Army Auckland Bridge Centre exists to provide safe, integrated, high quality treatment and support services to people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or substance use. Our services are evidenced based best practice and are known for being people-centred, caring, transformative and responsive.

We are looking to appoint an experienced qualified and registered Social Worker, Counsellor, or Addictions Practitioner for our residential programme based in Mt Eden.

Key Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

Hours of work:This is a permanent role of 40 hours per week.

The starting salary for this role will fall between $68,037.77 and $102,000 per annum.This role is covered by pay equity and the final remuneration will be dependent on the years of experience the preferred candidate brings to the role.
