Job summary

Primary ITO is seeking a role focused on leading and supporting business development within the agriculture sector. You will build strong relationships, shape engagement strategies, and drive outcomes for agriculture learners across New Zealand.

In this position you will recommend and implement training solutions tailored to customers’ needs, and facilitate annual business planning discussions with stakeholders. Flexible location options are available with aNZ-wide focus.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business development, customer growth and strategic relationship management initiatives.
• Experience in the education sector and/or vocational learning environments with a strong, credible reputation that is trusted and results focussed.
• Experience partnering with agriculture businesses and/or commercial environments.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development with existing and new agriculture businesses.
• Build and enhance the profile of Primary ITO and provide strategic direction for engagement with agriculture businesses.
• Recommend, develop and implement training solutions based on customers' business training needs.
• Facilitate discussions and planning of annual business plans.
