Job summary

Primary ITO, a division focused on training for primary industries, is seeking a seasoned business development leader to lead and support engagement with agriculture businesses across New Zealand. The role emphasizes relationship building and collaboration to grow learner outcomes.

You will shape engagement profiles, develop training solutions, and help plan annual business plans, with location flexibility across Hamilton, Ashburton, Invercargill and anywhere in NZ.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business development, customer growth and strategic relationship management initiatives.
• Experience in the education sector and/or vocational learning environments with a strong, credible reputation that is trusted and results focussed.
• Experience partnering with agriculture businesses and/or commercial environments
• Excellent communication, both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance the profile of Primary ITO and provide the strategic direction for engagement with agriculture businesses.
• Help the business to deliver sound outcomes for agriculture learners.
• Recommend, develop and implement the training solutions for customers based on understanding their training needs.
• Facilitate discussions and planning of annual business plans.
