Job summary

Primary ITO is seeking a proactive leader to drive business development in the agriculture education sector. You will build relationships with agriculture businesses, design training solutions, and support learner outcomes across New Zealand.

This full-time role offers a flexible location within NZ, a 40-hour week Monday to Friday, and a wellbeing-focused benefits package including leave, volunteering days and five weeks after three years.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business development initiatives in the education sector or vocational learning environments.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience partnering with agriculture businesses or commercial environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development with existing and new agriculture businesses.
• Build and enhance the profile of Primary ITO and provide strategic direction for engagement with agriculture businesses.
• Help the business deliver sound outcomes for agriculture learners.
• Recommend, develop and implement training solutions based on customers' training needs.
• Facilitate discussions and planning of annual business plans.
