Job summary

Primary ITO is seeking a results‑driven business development lead to grow and nurture relationships with agriculture businesses across New Zealand. You will shape engagement strategies, support learner outcomes, and tailor training solutions to customer needs while collaborating with internal teams to deliver impact.

Qualifications

Experience leading business development, customer growth and strategic relationship management initiatives.
Experience in the education sector and/or vocational learning environments with a strong, credible reputation.
Experience partnering with agriculture businesses and/or commercial environments.
Excellent communication, both written and verbally.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance the profile of Primary ITO and providing the strategic direction for our engagement with agriculture businesses.
Help the business to deliver sound outcomes for agriculture learners.
Recommend, develop and implement the training solutions for our customers, based on understanding their business training needs.
Facilitate discussions and planning of annual business plans.
