Job summary

Geneva Healthcare is seeking an After Hours Coordinator for two part-time roles in our Auckland CBD office. You will manage high volumes of calls from clients and support workers, scheduling shifts and documenting reports.

Training is provided with a 2-week full-time program, and a hybrid work environment is offered to support flexibility. The role requires reliable availability over year-end holidays and public holidays, with NZ citizen/resident status or valid NZ work visa.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call centre or similar customer service role.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volumes of phone inquiries from clients and support workers.
• Arrange shifts for external clients, funders and competitors as needed.
• Prepare written reports for Management.
• Process Homecare referrals and extensions.
• In-depth handover when starting/finishing shifts.

About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

As an After Hours Coordinator, you will be confident in answering high volumes of phone-based inquiries from our clients and support workers. Due to the nature of this, you will need to be available to work across the end of year holiday period and public holidays.

We have 2 part-time permanent positions available, based in our CBD office in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Hours below:

Option One:

Mondays and Fridays 4PM - 930PM
Saturday 1PM - 930PM

Option Two:

Tuesdays and Fridays 4PM - 930PM
Saturday 730AM - 4PM

Ideally you will be able to commit to our 2 week training schedule below:

Monday to Friday | 830am - 5:30pm

• Experience working in a call centre environment role is preferred.
• The ability to thrive under pressure while manage high volume calls and multi-task successfully.
• Excellent communication skills and professional phone manner.
• Proven customer service skills – a genuine interest for helping others.
• Resilience to push through.
• Ability to commit to 2 weeks full time paid training preferred but not essential as we appreciate this is a part-time position.
