Job summary

Ovation Hospitality Services NZ Ltd is seeking an organised Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Auckland. This hands-on role focuses on accurate and timely supplier invoice processing, engaging with Finance, Procurement and Operations to resolve issues and ensure on-time payments.

You will manage invoice workflows through Coupa and import details into Momentus, review three-way matching, and support week-end processing and month-end close while maintaining strong financial

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or finance administration experience.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AP process.
• Experience with purchase orders, invoice processing and supplier reconciliations.
• Good three-way matching and goods receipting knowledge.
• Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Clear, professional communication and collaboration with Finance, Procurement, Operations and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor invoices through Coupa and process approved imports into Momentus.
• Review PO, goods receipt and invoice matching issues.
• Follow up approvals and invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding balances.
• Resolve missing invoices, credit notes and duplicates.
• Ensure invoices are posted before payment cut-offs.
• Support with weekly payment processing and month-end close.
