Job summary

Waikato Waters Ltd is seeking a Works Programme Coordinator to manage the day-to-day flow of fault jobs, planned works, reinstatements, complaints and customer connections in a fast-moving, 24/7 utility environment. Reporting to the Works Programme Lead, you will create and track work orders, provide updates to councils and customers, and coordinate field crews with accurate status data.

You will ensure data quality in Infor, support stand-ups, and contribute to SLA reporting.

Qualifications

• This role requires operational coordination experience in a council or utility setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities are essential.
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence and be comfortable in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests, create work orders, assign jobs to field crews and track progress through to completion.
• Provide regular job status updates to councils and customers according to urgency and protocols.
• Obtain field updates, manage schedule changes, flag delays and support daily stand-ups with accurate information.
• Manage specialist jobs including reinstatements, complaints, new connections and planned shutdowns.
• Maintain data accuracy in Infor; support field teams to meet data requirements.
• Contribute to SLA reporting and trend analysis.
