Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS in Stavanger, Norway, seeks a People Advisor Comp&Ben to provide strategic HR advice to managers and employees and to lead compensation and benefits initiatives. You will analyse salary structures, benchmark market data, and support management with data-driven decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor or Master in HR/finance/business, 3+ years in HR advisory, and fluent Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of relevant HR advisory, compensation and benefits, or HR analytics experience.
• Strong understanding of Norwegian employment law and HR practices.
• Experience with salary processes, market benchmarking and job evaluation.
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations and decision-support materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic HR advice to managers and employees in areas including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, organisational changes, and termination of employment.
• Support managers in workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and employee-related decisions.
• Provide guidance on internal policies, Norwegian employment law, and collective agreements.
• Manage and maintain procedures in the management system in line with regulatory, ISO, and governance requirements.
• Initiate and coordinate compensation and benefits processes, including salary reviews, market benchmarking, and remuneration governance.
• Analyse salary structures and market information, and prepare evidence-based recommendations.
• Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support management decisions.
• Prepare analyses on turnover, recruitment, absence, organisational structure, diversity, and compensation.
• Contribute to local and global initiatives, projects, and system implementations with analysis and stakeholder management.
• Ensure high-quality HR data and support compliance with statutory, audit, and internal control requirements.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and decision-support materials for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, reporting, and ways of working.
