Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. seeks a General Manager for the Nussir project site in Finnmark, Norway.

You will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to transition from construction to full operations. The role requires building a safe, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective production, managing mining, processing, maintenance, HSE, and support functions, while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or related field.
• 20+ years in mining operations with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience in underground mining operations and processing facilities.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and stakeholder management.
• Proven leadership and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster a strong safety culture and high-performance environment.
• Provide visible, values-driven leadership aligned with company objectives.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations, achieving name plate production.
