Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mining Engineering, Geology, or OHS.
• 5–8 years in heavy industrial environments, with 3 years underground experience.
• Experience navigating switch from construction to steady-state operations is valued.

Responsibilities

• Construction Phase: oversee contractor safety, support excavation/structural oversight, lead risk assessments for equipment commissioning.
• Operational Phase: design and monitor underground safety systems, ensure regulatory compliance with Norwegian authorities, train crews, and prepare emergency plans.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
