Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager for the Nussir Processing Plant. Site-based role overseeing QA/QC across construction and operations, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements to support quality culture and continuous improvement.

The role reports to the Site Project Director (Construction) / Plant Operations Manager (Operations) and requires experience in mining QA/QC, EPC/EPCM environments, and a strong track record in process plant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional designation (P.Eng. or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years in QA/QC within mining or mineral processing.
• Experience in both plant construction and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
• Establish QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and quality documentation systems.
• Review engineering deliverables for compliance with specs/standards.
• Oversee inspection and testing of structural, mechanical, piping, and process equipment.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Coordinate third-party inspections and certifications; conduct audits.
• Lead QA/QC team and interface with multiple groups.
