Job summary

Blue Moon Metals is seeking an on-site Materials Management & Warehouse Lead to manage warehouse and logistics activities for the Nussir Project. The role emphasizes safe handling, inventory control, and distribution of materials and equipment required for site operations.

The position develops into an operational role working alongside the Warehouse Lead to build competence, systems understanding, and best practices for long-term operations. Norwegian language is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
• Experience in warehouse operations is required.
• Experience with SAP or other inventory systems is required.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Norwegian proficiency is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Support receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment.
• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
• Perform safe handling of materials including mining equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in SAP.
• Assist with picking, packing, and issuing materials to construction and operations.
• Coordinate with logistics and expediting for receipt and tracking of deliveries.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, company procedures, and warehouse standards.
• Submit warehouse and inventory reports as required.
• Learn and develop competencies under guidance of Warehouse Lead.
