Job summary

Nexans in Oslo is seeking a Senior Tender Manager to lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids for large, complex EPCI projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, develop tender strategies with the Sales Manager, and manage internal reviews to align with Nexans’ standards.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, a technical mindset, and fluent English, with collaboration across Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Installation and Finance.

Qualifications

• up to 5 years of experience in tendering, sales, or project management
• A B.S. degree (technical background preferred)
• Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
• Experience managing large, complex projects and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Developing tender strategies in collaboration with the Sales Manager and core team
• Coordinating cross-functional teams of 10 experts
• Defining and implementing robust project execution plans
• Leading internal review processes and ensuring alignment with Nexans’ standards
• Supporting commercial and contractual negotiations with clients
• Ensuring a smooth transition from tender to project execution
• Promoting Quality and HSE in all tender activities
