Job summary

Energy & Automatic Systems S.L. (Energyas) in Stavanger is seeking an experienced telecom professional to support IT/OT and offshore telecom infrastructure.

You will perform surveys, design/coordinate networks, and coordinate with rig owners and vendors across survey, design, installation and commissioning phases. The role emphasizes hands-on network design (VLANs, switches, firewalls) and offshore telecom systems (TETRA, CCTV), with a focus on real-time drilling data flows and offshore

Qualifications

• Solid experience with IT, OT and telecom infrastructure within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of offshore communication networks, including radiolink, satellite connectivity, 4G/5G and fiber.
• Hands-on experience with network design, VLANs, firewalls, switches and hardware installation.
• Experience or good understanding of critical offshore telecom systems such as TETRA and CCTV.
• Familiarity with real-time drilling data flows such as WITSML.

Responsibilities

• Daily follow-up and operational support of existing IT, OT and telecom infrastructure.

• Support and coordinate offshore connectivity solutions including radiolink/LoS, Starlink, T-FAST, 4G/5G and subsea fiber.
• Coordinate rig intake, onboarding and migration to standardized solutions.
• Design and coordinate IT/OT networks , including switches, cabling, fiber, VLANs and firewall infrastructure.
• Follow up telecom and OT systems such as TETRA, CCTV, Personnel Tracking Systems (PTS) and AV systems.
• Facilitate and troubleshoot data flows for real-time drilling and third-party services.
• Coordinate vendors, rig owners and technical disciplines throughout survey, design, installation and commissioning.
