Dovre Solutions is seeking an experienced telecom/automation engineer for offshore projects in Norway. You will contribute to detailed design, studies, and preparation of job packages, while following up on deliveries and supplier activities.

We expect 5+ years offshore project experience, strong knowledge of ATEX and fiber-optic systems, and fluency in Norwegian or English. AT/SJA certificates are required; training of new engineers is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation, or Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore-related project experience.
• Knowledge of ATEX, client systems, and applicable standards.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.
• Proficiency in Norwegian or strong English, both spoken and written.
• AT / SJA certificates are required.

Requirements

Required Education:

Preferred/Required Work Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.

• AT / SJA
