Engineering Consultants Norway AS in Stavanger is seeking an experienced Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation engineer for offshore projects. The role covers detailed telecom design, studies participation, and package follow-up, with onshore/offshore inspections and training responsibilities for junior engineers.

Required are a relevant degree (BSc/MSc or Tech College with oil & gas experience), at least 5 years offshore, and strong knowledge of telecom systems, ATEX standards, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation.
• Alternatively a Technical College degree with extensive oil & gas project experience.
• At least 5 years offshore-related project experience.
• Strong knowledge of ATEX standards and client systems.
• Excellent knowledge of telecommunication systems, network infrastructure, and fiber-optic technologies used in oil & gas.
• Proficiency in Norwegian or English, spoken and written.

Required Qualifications:

• Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas
  industry
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
• Strong experience in engineering design.
• Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes.
• Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.
• Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
