Job summary

IKM Consultants AS in Stavanger seeks a network engineer to lead OT and telecom network modernization efforts. You will work across IT, information security, and risk teams to ensure robust, compliant end-to-end deliveries between onshore and offshore sites.

The role requires CCNP-level expertise and experience with critical control systems, with offshore travel as needed and a full-time work arrangement.

• Develop plans for the replacement and modernization of OT and telecom networks.
• Collaborate with internal IT, information security, and risk management teams.
• Coordinate with various business units to ensure seamless end-to-end deliveries between onshore and offshore locations.
• Partner closely with IT/OT operations operators to ensure quality and SLA requirements are met.
• Oversee architecture and network deliveries for major projects.
• Contribute actively to budgeting processes within the domain.
• Identify and implement new solutions to enhance OT and telecom network quality.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for critical network infrastructure.

Required expertise
