Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS seeks an experienced IT/OT and telecom specialist for offshore infrastructure in Stavanger. You will perform daily follow-up and support for existing IT/OT and telecom systems, and you will design and install foundational networks, including VLANs, fiber, switches and firewalls.

You will also manage offshore connectivity carriers (radiolink, Starlink, 4G/5G, subsea fiber) and coordinate multi-disciplinary activities from surveying to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with IT/OT and telecom in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of offshore communication networks (radiolink, Starlink, 4G/5G, subsea fiber).
• Hands-on experience with IT/OT network design, VLANs, firewalls, and hardware installation.
• Familiarity with critical systems such as TETRA, CCTV, and real-time drilling data flows (WITSML).
• Excellent vendor coordination and multi-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Language: English (Norwegian is an advantage)

• Facilitate, support, and troubleshoot data flows for real-time drilling and third‑party services.
• Coordinate vendors, rig owners, and professional disciplines throughout survey, design, installation, and commissioning.
