Job summary

Techconsult is seeking a Planning / Senior Planner to drive schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope. You will collect information from stakeholders and maintain Level 4/5 plans, leading progress reviews and highlighting critical path risks.

You will work to optimize the schedule, communicate issues to the planning manager, and pursue schedule improvements while collaborating with contracts, estimation, risk and cost teams.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor in technical or commercial topics.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Experience in engineering planning.
• Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project.
• Experience with and knowledge of companys method.
• Excellent skills with Safran Project; Primavera is a plus.
• Strong competency in critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis.
• Scenario planning with mitigating actions to recover delays.
• Experience coordinating with contracts, estimation, risk and cost resources.
• Systematic, accurate and a team player.
• High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Proactive, sharing experiences with others.
• Solid English communication, verbal and written.

Job responsibilities:

• Schedule planning, resource planning and cost control for the engineering scope. This requires proactively collecting information from various stakeholders in the project.
• Establish and maintain Level 4 (and Level 5?) for the engineering scope.
• Lead project progress reviews and validate & challenge actual progress.
• Highlighting the critical path and risks linked to the project schedule for the scope and propose the optimization & mitigation actions.
• Follow up the overall scheduling according to contract, authority regulations and work processes.
• Provide planning manager and project management with scheduling analysis to ensure correct management decisions.
• Communicate all potential scheduling issues to planning manager to ensure needed adjustments, mitigations and improved performance.
• Proactively search for opportunities to improve the schedule and ensure materialization of these.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor within technical or commercial topics. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years work experience within project planning from EPC projects.
• Experience from engineering planning
• Experience with and working knowledge of Safran Project
• Experience with and knowledge of companys method
• Excellent skills within the use of Safran Project. Candidates with excellent skills within Primavera will also be evaluated.
• Highly competent within critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis – monitor and follow up closely
• Scenario planning with the ability to suggest mitigating actions to recover project delay.
• Experience with working together with contract, estimation, risk and cost resources to ensure alignment between plan and their deliverables.
