Job summary

Ramboll seeks an HV Technical Scope Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering HV design and engineering solutions. You will interface with clients, safeguard interests, and guide projects from conception to completion.

Join a global Power Systems group with a focus on sustainable energy and long-term client relationships. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required; PMI certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design experience and project execution.
• Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder management across countries and disciplines.
• Strong understanding of electrical transmission system design, SCADA, protection, HV cables.
• Experience in client-facing roles and building trust on projects.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English (written and spoken).
• PMI project management certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface, ensuring scope clarity and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas for integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects with schedules and budgets.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities, with follow-up and QA.
