Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a HV Technical Scope Manager to lead a multinational team within our Power Systems group in Norway. You will guide HV/EHV substation or overhead line design, drive technical excellence, and build strong client partnerships to support Ramboll’s growth and sustainable change.

You will coordinate with cross-discipline experts, mentor junior engineers, manage scope, schedules and budgets, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or related field.
• Extensive HV/EHV substation or overhead line design and project execution.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management across borders.
• Strong knowledge of transmission system design, SCADA, protection, HV cables.
• Experience in client-facing roles and building trust.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English.
• Project management certification (PMI) is an advantage.
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams for HV design and engineering.
• Act as key client interface with clear scope and partnerships.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas for integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects within schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers across borders.
• Support site and field activities and ensure QA.
