Job summary

SearchApi is hiring an engineering leader to own end-to-end delivery, enabling the founder to step back from day-to-day work. You will run cadences, surface risk early, and be the first escalation point when issues arise.

You lead through clear writing and strong decisions, creating a structure where Managers of One emerge. The role focuses on delivering real software, coordinating across teams, and building scalable processes that keep customers happy.

Qualifications

• A written example of how you ran a delivery process or unblocked a team.
• Shipped delivery improvements with measurable impact.
• Technical leadership with product-focused mindset.
• Excellent written communication.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Run the cadences: planning, standups, and retros. Lightweight, useful, never theater.
• Track everything: know the state of every active project and surface risk early.
• Own delivery metrics: cycle time, review latency, reliability; use them thoughtfully.
• Command incidents: be first escalation, coordinate response, and run a blameless RCA that changes things.
• Grow the team: 1:1s, coaching, and a hiring pipeline with a high bar.
