Job summary

Nscale is seeking a proactive NOC Associate to work on-site at our Glomfjord data center. You will monitor network infrastructure, servers, and environmental systems to ensure maximum uptime and respond to alarms with escalation to senior engineers as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, incident management, and close collaboration with Tier 2/3 teams, facilities, and security to maintain reliable, secure AI infrastructure. This is a full‑time on‑site position.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of core networking concepts and security basics.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
• Comfort with Linux/Unix command line and Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network, servers and facility systems in real time and log incidents.
• Identify alarms, troubleshoot basic issues, and escalate complex problems.
• Create and maintain incident tickets with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, facilities and security during incidents.
• Participate in shift handovers and maintain operational records.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance and verify post‑maintenance status.
• Monitor environmental conditions and generate daily operational reports.
• Follow procedures to ensure safety, compliance and SLAs.
