Job summary

Nscale in Glomfjord, Norway, is hiring a Network Operations Center Associate for on-site 24/7 operations. You will monitor network, servers, EMS, BMS, and environmental systems, triage alerts, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers. Collaborate with Tier 2/3 engineers, Facilities, and local technicians to maintain maximum uptime in a cutting-edge data center environment and ensure reliable service for clients.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a NOC, IT helpdesk, technical support, or data center environment.
• Degree or vocational certificate in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant hands-on experience or certifications will also be highly considered).

Responsibilities

• Real-time monitoring of network, servers, storage, and data centre infra to ensure uptime.
• Respond to BMS alarms and escalate issues per SOPs.
• Create and update incident tickets with complete documentation.
• Collaborate with Tier 2/3 engineers and facilities during incidents.
• Participate in structured shift handovers to maintain continuity.
• Assist with scheduled maintenance and inspections during approved windows.
• Monitor environmental conditions and report on facility performance.
• Follow operational procedures and SLAs.
