Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager to lead our 24/7/365 NOC at the Glomfjord data center in Norway. You will oversee monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure management, balancing strategic improvement with hands-on guidance.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in NOC leadership and 6+ years in network/infra roles, plus a Bachelor’s in CS or IT. The role emphasizes automation, SOP development, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-moving AI infrastructure

Qualifications

Proven leadership: 4+ years managing a NOC or data center team.
6+ years hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a 24/7/365 Network Operations Centre team with recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Oversee daily monitoring of network, servers, BMS, and data center infrastructure; ensure SLAs.
Act as primary escalation for Tier 3+ incidents; coordinate cross-functional teams and RCA activities.
Develop and enforce SOPs, runbooks, and escalation workflows.
Oversee handovers between shifts and ensure clear communications during incidents.
Identify opportunities to improve monitoring, automation, and operational tooling.
