Job summary

Helly Hansen seeks a Senior HR Manager Nordics to provide trusted HR partnership across the Nordic region, combining operational delivery with tactical business partnering in line with local law and company policies. You will guide leaders and employees through the lifecycle while contributing to broader HR initiatives across EMEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field is required.
• Experience in HR business partnering, HR management, or HR operations in an international environment.
• Understanding of Nordic employment legislation in at least one Nordic country.
• Fluent written and spoken English and at least one Nordic language.
• Familiarity with HR systems like Workday and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Nordic leaders to translate priorities into practical people plans.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Advise managers and employees on employee relations, performance, absence, workplace issues, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure HR practices comply with local Nordic employment legislation, GDPR, and company policies.
• Create, update and launch local HR policies and documentation with regional and global HR colleagues.
• Support fair, consistent, and values-based decision-making across the business.
• Support leaders with performance management, goal setting, development discussions, and annual processes.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support Nordic recruitment and onboarding.
• Contribute to process improvements increasing consistency, quality, and efficiency across HR operations.
• Lead salary reviews and ensure consistency in promotions and pay practices.
